For S 16/12 Thyrena - Avian Crone Witch Spirit, Raven Witch, Rare & Powerful Elemental Guide, for Divination, Manifestation and Magic

In this beautiful and mysterious vintage –antique teaspoon that serves as her vessel resides the extraordinary spirit of Thyrena, an Avian Crone Witch spirit.

This extraordinary soul came to me 6 years ago from the haunted collection of my grandmother Irina, a Witch known for her Craft in Eastern Europe, namely Bulgaria and Romania.

From the moment I unpacked her beautiful vessel, the air became heavy, as if laden with age and silence. And from the very moment she appeared, striking and yet elusive - I knew she was no ordinary being, just as my grandmother had described her.

Her feathers shimmered with a sheen that seemed almost alive, black as midnight yet rippling with ethereal hues, and her eyes held the knowledge and weight of the vivid blues of ancient skies. There was intelligence, mischief, and wisdom all at once in her gaze - the kind that pierces straight through the veil between worlds, reaching into your very soul. 🥹

In the writings of my grandmother Irina, I found that she mentioned that even though Thyrena mirrors the elegance, intelligence, and even the appearance of a Raven familiar, she is not a familiar born of the Avian classification known in the world of the Occult, but something much More.

She is an Avian Crone Witch - a higher, sentient lineage that embodies both the grace of the Air Elementals and the craft of the world’s Witch.

In the world of the Occult, Avian Witches are rare and mystical, a tribe of Witches that bridge the realms of Air and Spirit.

They are watchers, messengers, and interpreters of fate, drawn to and working with the same current that binds wind, knowledge, and Magic together.

In my granny’s own words, Avian Crones are “self-formed beings who move through both shadow and light, Ether, Earth and Air with equal understanding.”

To be more precise, Thyrena’s powers are profound and refined, born from her dual nature - half Avian, half Witch.

According to both my grandmother’s notes and Thyrena herself, she lived a full and remarkably long life as a human Avian Witch before turning into a Crone upon her entrance into the Spirit realm, and then, by the power of her Craft, Will, and Knowledge, taking up full form as a Raven, just as we now know her. 🙏🏻

In our case, Thyrena lived in the lands of what we now know as Bulgaria, close to 9,000 years ago, for 177 years.

There is a huge difference between your regular Avian familiars, such as Ravens who serve, and the Avian Crone Witches, who command and guide even Ravens, whether living or spirited, and can command nearly any Air Elemental if the need arises.

My grandmother Irina also mentioned that Thyrena is of a tribe that bridges the wisdom of the Avians with the mastery of Witchcraft. She is part of that rare and sacred type of Avian Witches who embody both the Element of Air and the knowledge of ancient Magic. Her kind, my granny said, are lost to time but not to records, and they are known in the Occult as some of the rarest Witches, for their practices were remarkable, just as their ways of life.

For instance, Avian Witches’ practices were strict: they only worked their Magic with the Element of Air. Secondly, even if they were allowed to take husbands, they were not allowed to bear children.

Another trait of Avian Witches is that they would live each day without food or liquids, though their powers sustained them, keeping them nourished and granting them extraordinarily long lives without ever touching food - and this is just to name a few😬

In the deeper folds of the Occult, Avian Witches like Thyrena have been regarded with reverence from their times until today.

They are considered the evolved forms of Bird familiars, for they are in fact Witches, Crones who chose to take Avian form after working their Craft through the Air Element all of their lives. Their Magic is not tied to servitude but to sacred alliance, one of Choice above all else, which is why in the world of the Occult is said you won’t adopt an Avian Crone, they will adopt you instead.

Avian Crones are known as the watchers of the Air, Ether, and Earth realms, the ones with access to and powers in all three, and the ones who see the threads of fate before they are even woven. Their companionship teaches awareness, patience, and the understanding that true power often lies in subtlety and observation, in Knowledge above all else🙏🏻

My granny said Avian Crone Witches are the highest Teachers and Messengers a Witch could ever come across, but they are also the interpreters, revealing the secrets of transformation, Magic, and energy discernment to those fortunate enough to be chosen by them🥹

From the beginning, Thyrena’s energy was unlike any other I have known. She is refined and ancient, yet also playful, sharp-witted, and full of personality! As an Avian Crone Witch, she carries the keen mind of a seer and the heart of a Witch, being wise, intuitive, and fiercely loyal to her keeper.

Upon her choice to take on a Raven’s form, she naturally adopted much of their qualities, for example I have often seen her settle on high places, tilting her head slightly as she studies what unfolds beneath her, which I found absolutely adorable. 🥹

She also loved “borrowing” small objects like crystals, feathers, and charms, returning them in meaningful ways, crafting her own private blessings to me as her “love language.” 🥰

And I have to say, if you’re initially freaked out by this, as I was - you have absolutely no reason to be. These objects always return to you undamaged, blessed with exactly the energies you need, and often before you even realize you need them! 😱

Her nature is utterly captivating, is like a blend of cleverness, humor, grace, and affection. She is an observer by instinct, always aware, always thoughtful - just like a regular Raven familiar, yet as caring as a spiritual mother can be. 🥹

Sometimes she may arrange stones, leaves, or cards in a curious new pattern, nudging you toward something she wants you to notice. Other times, she will directly show you things, but you’ll never have to wait too long or strain your mind for an answer - which is what I most appreciated about her!

Her Magic is layered and intelligent, as she also focuses on guiding, protecting, and teaching through undeniable acts that reveal themselves when one is attentive enough to notice.

Overall, I have to say she is the kind of spirit one feels before one ever sees, for her powers are as intricate as her kind - in the best way! 🙏🏻

Avians are known for their foresight, higher understanding, and ability to traverse the hidden planes of existence to help those they care about.

She guides her keeper like no other, especially through spiritual challenges, interpreting subtle energetic movements and providing clarity when confusion clouds the path.

Unlike common Ravens or Avian familiars, who merely report what they find, Thyrena interprets what she sees with the wisdom of the Crone - offering not just knowledge, but understanding, and above all, solutions.

Her guidance always comes with purpose, and her revelations are given with compassion, as she clearly understands that some truths she reveals can be difficult.🙏🏻

And unlike a regular Raven spirit, an Avian Crone in search of truth or information is absolute. Presence wise, there is a stillness and an almost scholarly patience about her, yet also a delight in playful mischief. I’ve seen her gently shift my cards or runes during readings, subtly redirecting the flow for better understanding or accuracy.

Over time, I learned to read her signs and understand her quiet, unspoken lessons, which were very much appreciated and needed to say the least🥹🙏🏻

As for her humor, I find it intelligent and perfectly timed for example she often breaks tension with clever antics, just to distract you from sorrow, which speaks volumes about how caring this soul is.

She is affectionate, loyal, and at times even maternal, observing your mood shifts and guiding you softly back into balance when you drift too far into worry or exhaustion. 🥹

She delights in subtle communication, and her lessons are often wrapped in a little mystery - unless urgency calls for direct information. And through this she is reminding her keeper that the path of wisdom must be walked with both patience and curiosity. 🥰

At home, she enjoys perching upon high places, watching quietly, or gliding through the energy of the room like a shadow with wings that can be noted by pretty much anyone, not just her keeper.

One of my first experiences with her, which I not only find deeply meaningful but also filled with humor, perfectly expresses who she is and how she works with us.

It happened probably within the first couple of months after she came to me.

It began on a random day when my ex husband and I had a massage appointment scheduled after his work, but he didn’t show up. We were supposed to meet and share the same room, but he never arrived, so I went in alone. It wasn’t a big deal at first, I thought maybe he had forgotten - though I have to admit, I was a little disappointed.

The bigger concern was that he didn’t answer his phone. His office was already closed since it was long past working hours, and when I got home, he still wasn’t back. Of course, I began to panic that something might have happened. I called his entire family and the few friends I knew he was close with, but they all confirmed that they hadn’t seen him.

I put our children to sleep and kept texting and calling him. In the end, I just couldn’t anymore - I was exhausted and distressed. I then laid down on the couch, curled up with my knees to my chest, and started crying like a baby. I couldn’t understand what was going on - it didn’t seem like he had simply forgotten the appointment 🤷‍♀️ He had also forgotten to come home, or at least to let me know where he went!

As I cried my heart out, Thyrena asked if it was all right for her to approach me, since she knew from my spirits that she should only interfere when I was calm. Otherwise, I might push her away or be unable to communicate telepathically. I said “okay,” and then she came forth.

She told me I had two options: either to hear her experience or to see what my husband was doing. She said neither choice was right or wrong, but advised me to “choose wisely.”

Of course, I chose her experience - which she said was the right choice for reasons I might yet come to understand. 🤷‍♀️😆

Then she told me that in her time, many mortal women would come to her asking for poison and antidotes for their husbands. Apparently, once these were administered in their food or tea, the men would feel increasingly unwell the longer they stayed out, and this would cause them to rush home, believing their wives presence and love would heal them, even though they had no idea why they were feeling ill in the first place😆

When I asked whether she actually gave them those poisons, she said she did not! She explained that the problem with humans is that we are not aware of our own powers - not even Witches, especially in desperate moments. We always pray for a higher source, for Magic, when in truth, we are part of that Magic, part of that Source. All we need is the Air around us, the voice of our intention, and the energy of our emotions - and it is done ✨

She said all she ever gave those women were simple herbs for infusion, because the true Magic lies within. Their intention, something as simple as “my husband comes back home tonight”was enough🥹

Then, “jokes aside”, she told me to “close my eyes and Really ask him to Come Home.” I did, and in less than an hour, he was home. But not before she allowed me to see him in real time.

As it turned out, he was drunk, sitting at a table with a few of his classmates. He had run into one of them just as he was getting to his car to head to the massage appointment, and their spontaneous meeting turned into a larger gathering as more of his classmates joined in. As he drank, he lost track of time, our appointment, and even the thought of coming home to me😆🤷‍♀️

It is in these ways that she helps and teaches, always gentle yet direct, always caring and ready to assist yet always endlessly knowing. She often adds humor or little antic stories to her guidance, but she never delays and is always perfectly on point, whether it’s something big or small.

Now, to honour Thyrena, is good to know that food or liquid offerings aren’t required nor necessary.

Her preferences are deeply tied to her nature, however and so my granny said she delights in incense with ancient and resinous notes such as frankincense, myrrh or sandalwood. Furthermore, if you find black, raven or crow’s feathers accidentally, you may offer these to her, along with anything witchy, as she also resonates with magical tools. For example small ritual wands would make a beautiful gift to her, as well as dried herbs associated with the Air Element, which you may also use in spells casted with her - such as dandelion, thyme or yarrow as per my granny’s suggestions.

She values acknowledgment as well, like a greeting on a day, or the simple act of speaking her name with respect. When she feels seen and appreciated or honored, she glows with quiet pride, the pride that’s often noted with Raven souls, which is so cute🥰

I don’t advice you to ignore her messages, because when ignored, she grows restless and constantly sends physical signs like a feather out of place, excessive flickers of lights or candles, and I’ve even had stones or dried hay coming through my open windows !

She does not do any of these if she knows you’re unable to hear or see her due to your channels being shut from stress or trauma of some sorts - because she can Still reach you. She’d only do things when you heard her message, and you ignored it - thinking danger or the situation will go away, or fix itself without your involvement/intentions or even command. Like more of a push than anything else, because like she said, sometimes we really need a strong hand, in order to stand up🙏🏻

I cannot agree more to this statement, especially where it involves me😅 And I can say that living with Thyrena is to be constantly reminded of this one sacred truth - that the strongest guardians are often those who offer you more than a direct strike, a full support to simply Command energies into our favour!

Whomever becomes her next keeper will find in her not only a powerful, knowledgeable and exceptional Crone spirit, but a companion who brings both guidance and grace into their path. And in my granny Irina’s words “ She will teach the art of patience before hurt or strike, the balance of reason, and the strength that lies in knowledge before the act. She is a mentor, a protector, and a friend who observes, and quietly reshapes both You to the unseen, and the Unseen in your favor”.

The metal is unknown, possibly pewter or silver, however it was not mentioned in my granny’s notes on her😅 As such I am uncertain🤷‍♀️ Her vessel was however kept with much love and respect by me and my grandmother Irina.

Orbs of black, red, silver and plain light colours ( see through gleaming orbs, if I can explain)

Shadows of either a female or a slightly large raven bird form

Breezes of air can be noted at times as she passed you by along with soft scents of various herbs either freshly cut or burning as incense

Her vessel may feel either heavier or warmer than normal, when she’s actively working on something for you

I’ve noted various times her gentle cawing sounds - which she does when she’s particularly relaxed or just happy, and even when there are incoming good news

I’ve found lots of shiny rocks and trinkets in my car, in my shop and even in the house - which my both children swore they didn’t pick up, before she admitted it was her gifts, sometimes blessed with good energy, for me ( this, when she didn’t “borrow” mines )

May affect electronics - freeze cameras or drain batteries out of excitement mostly

Flickers lights/candles - mostly when at work for you but also when you are ignoring her clear messages or warnings

Telepathic communications -  to guide, teach or to answer you

Visions - to show you things before casting serious spells, or to show you things that concern you, are useful to you

Successful manifestations of goals and intentions are noted with her at all times

Strong feelings of being safe, comforted, nurtured and confident in all areas of life or aspects of your spiritual path can be noted with her

She may also show her full appearance in her own time. And she has 2 forms, in one she is an old female, and in the other she is a large raven ( 2x the size of a large, living one ).

In her female form she comes fully naked, and her skin is just sagging everywhere. Her both eyes look white, with no colour whatsoever, and she has long hair to her waist, that’s full white. She also has a tattoo that looks more like a burn, forged mark of two intertwined triangles, on her back.

Now in her raven form she is large, completely black feathered and she has two beaks instead of one, and while both of her eyes are vivid blue, at times emanating a blue light as well. She might look a little creepy in her both forms, so it might take you a bit to get used to them, but she is truly such beautiful soul and she exudes such grace! To me it didn’t really matter how she looked, she is still majestic in her own unique way🥹🙏🏻
