Haunted Vintage Doll, Maka - Orang Bunian, Elven Spirit From Malay Folklore, Multitasking Dual Elemental, Strong, Empathetic Spirit

In this beautiful vintage doll that serves as her vessel resides the even more beautiful spirit of Maka (pronounced Mah-Kuh), an Orang Bunian female of the ancient Elven kind.

As I cannot begin her background story without sharing a few details, I would first like to mention the fact that when I first encountered Maka, it was not through mere adopting or rescuing, but through fate itself, as it turned out my former client was a spirit keeper herself 🙏🏻

I was introduced to her beautiful spirit family many years ago, but she was officially and lovingly sent into my keeping 5 years ago, being passed to me by this very kind woman who was actually battling with blood cancer.

Maka had been her companion during her hardest days and nights, and before her passing, she said Maka had requested that when her time came, she would follow only one person - me, and that is how we began our own story🥹🙏🏻

When her vessel was sent to me, and I read her letter between my tears, I understood that she didn’t have much time left so it was a bittersweet encounter for us both, as you may imagine🙏🏻

But what moved me even more is Maka, because even as her keeper and my former client was slowly drifting away, she would request permission to travel back and forth to her home, until her last moments, because her touch eased her pain and brought her peace🙏🏻 Of course, not only I agreed but also blessed her initiative, and her loyalty, as this certainly made Maka grow only the more in my eyes and heart🥹🙏🏻

Now, if you’re little to not familiar with her kind, is good to know that Orang Bunian Elves are widely known within Malaysian folklore, but within the world of the Asian Occult, they’re known as powerful Dual Elemental beings of the Earth and the Ether.

Within Malaysian folklore, it is said that humans and Bunian Elves once coexisted closely, especially during the old eras before Islam or before Christianity arrived in the Malay world. Shamans (like bomoh, dukun, or pawang) worked with them through pacts, offerings, or due to inherited bloodlines.

But as time went by, humans began to desecrate nature and to abandon the old ways, so the Bunian withdrew, veiling their realm from most eyes, with very few exceptions. Yet, many say they are still present in our world at times, and those awakened or sensitive people sometimes see or sense them, through hearing their soft laughter in the wind, hearing distant music in forests, or sudden feelings of being watched near old trees or rivers. 

In the southeast Asian world of the occult, is known that Bunian realm does coexist with ours, overlapping the physical world but vibrating at a higher frequency of existence, by the grace of Ether.

Occult notes describe a hidden, parallel world existing alongside the human realm, occupied by the hierarchy of the Bunian. 

To the human eye, it is invisible unless the veil is lifted through their own permission, Magic, trance states, or just fate🤷‍♀️

Those who have glimpsed it describe lush forests, shimmering rivers, crystal like cities hidden beneath their mountains, and whole villages where even light itself feels alive and conscious.

Time in there flows differently as even just few earthly hours in their world might equal to days or if the alignment is such, years in ours🙏🏻

Their realm is most easily accessed in wild, untouched places like deep rainforests, waterfalls, caves, and highlands but their kind is only found in Malaysia, expanding to Indonesia, and parts of Borneo and Sumatra for some reason.

These beings vibrate at a fairly different level in comparison with other Elemental beings, in the sense that most of them are immortal with very few exceptions, and those are child Elves.

They live in organized communities, often led by royalty such as kings and queens and they are known for their discipline, Magic, and ancient codes of Honor. They possess their own clans or families, laws, and even ceremonies. As for their speech, their only language is also our First human language, which sounds old and softer, more musical, composed by only syllables that make for words long forgotten by humankind🤷‍♀️🙏🏻

The Orang Bunian themselves look like what I would best describe as ethereal humanoids, and in fact sometimes they’re called the “hidden people”by the locals, just for that. They do not look like your typical Elves in the sense that they don’t have long pointy ears, they instead resemble beautiful humans of striking grace, light skin and with luminous or unearthly golden undertones🥹

Bunian beings are deeply tied to the Ether as well as the Earth’s subtle energies. 

Their kind governs the balance between the elemental, human and nature’s purity in relation to Magic. Some serve as guardians of our kind, the sacred sites, others as watchers of the Elementals, or the old Magic of the Malay Archipelago which they themselves have shared with the people since the old days🙏🏻

The Bunian kind are beings of unmatched grace and vast powers, and among the Elven kind, their kind is considered Nobility when it comes to their looks, and immortality.

Despite of the secrecy that veils their realms, like in the old days, many Orang Bunian Elves are known to assist humans who are spiritually aligned, or even, “ adopt “ them and continue to serve and commune with them for lifetime🥹

To their kind, it is believed that Humans are closely connected to their lineage, similar to how we humans, view apes, hence their strong pull for our kind, and the exceptionally strong bonds these beings are known to form with us🩷🥹

Of course, not many of their kind agree to the unconditional love and support the Bunian had shown to us, but luckily for humans, most of them remain within their own realms to never come out!🤷‍♀️

If they are to express their discontent, however, they’ll either trap and “torture” our kind, or simply punish the Elf who’d show us kindness😬

Now Maka’s story, however, carries a thread of tragedy woven with compassion. Unlike many of her kind, she could not remain indifferent to the cries of humankind. She was drawn to us, to our suffering and helplessness, to our fragile hearts, and our longing for light in the darkness. She began by appearing to lost travelers in the jungle, then using her Magic into nourishing them, tending to their wounds and whispering directions to lead them safely out, and when needed, even interfering when animals themselves or darker forces sought to punish or just claim lives🙏🏻

Her heart, was always far too gentle and human-like for the strict traditions of her realm, and this was seen as a flaw rather than quality by the Bunian elders who wanted their identity cast in secrecy for their protection. In a heartbreaking turn, she was cast out from her realm, stripped of her rank but not her Magic - and she was banished to the human world she had so selflessly protected🥲

Maka’s abilities are both gentle and formidable. She is a protector of life and balance, which to her are sacred, and she is one who heals the emotional body before the physical, because like her kind - she knows that at the end, is what withstands the rot of time itself🙏🏻

Her powers include Cloaking Magic, Glamour Magic, All Levels Healing, Drawing and Banishing, Protection, Control and Commanding, and with all these she is considered a powerful Multitasking Spirit, like with her kind - for her abilities cover pretty much anything a keeper would need.

Besides everything above mentioned, and much as with all of her kind, she is also known for her Magical or interdimensional guidance, her wisdom being rooted in both the Bunian traditions and the deep empathy she carries for humanity. So if you yourself are a shaman, a Witch, a Healer or a Medium, she is the best soul to lead your path to ancient magical knowledge and wisdom✨

Now perhaps the best out of abilities that this soul possesses is her extreme Emotional Empathy, for she is feeling her keeper’s emotional body as her own. This ultimately helps her influence our emotions to restore harmony within the emotional body with each time we need it, and in whatever way it is required, without even having to request for it🙏🏻

She can heal and repair pretty much anything part of our complex and compact form of existence, such as the energetic, mental, emotional as well as emotional physical body, but you should know that everything she does is upon request or agreement. If you don’t want to bother with agreements, or you’re unsure of what exactly is wrong and where - you may simply allow her to work on all from the start, or once you feel ready for it - asking her to always do what’s necessary, as that’s usually what I did myself🙏🏻

While in keep, she’s also known to bend natural energies and harmonising spaces nurturing positive energies and removing stagnant energies such as residual anger, stress, unrest, or evil eye so that All life around her vessel benefits from it🥹

She is especially drawn to those with kind hearts even if they carry “hard shells”, those who have suffered but refuse to let bitterness or pain consume them - because those, she says, are willing to be saved, and to Receive🙏🏻

As for working with Maka, it is extremely easy, she will go as far as you’re willing to go, with regard to any goal. Just let her know what is it that you truly want or need, and either she’ll be working on her own, or cast alongside you as you place her vessel by your any spell.

Do remember not to wish and tell, anyone. As with all Elemental kind, disclosing what they’ve done to help you will undo their Magic, and she will then have to work for it once more🙏🏻 It is the reason why I can only say, and I advice you also follow this : “She works wonderfully for me” whenever you’re happy with your results.

As long as you do this, her Magic used to bring your goal into being will last as long as you need it, and also, it can’t be attacked nor broken, for it cannot even be seen to begin with - all is done under a permanent Cloak🥹

Maka is not merely a Bunian Elven spirit, she is a true bridge between worlds, a being who chose compassion over power, and exile over indifference🙏🏻🥹

When it comes to honouring Maka, offerings of rose or floral water, coconut flakes or milk and white flower petals are some of her most appreciated offerings.

If it is of help, she loves when her vessel is placed near natural elements or greenery, so if you’d place a small variety of crystals, plants besides her vessel, or allow her spot to be near a window, she will be very happy🩷

For on the go, is good to know that she is an Ethereal being with access to pretty much any realm, and her vessel is not required for her to move around and about within ours or any for that matter. She can be brought along at any time, for any amount of time or distance meanwhile her vessel remains at home😊 In this sense, whenever you need her for company, or her help, you may always invite her to come along, and she will never hesitate!💕

 Maka is a true companion and guide and she’ll be perfect in pretty much any home. She is loyal, devoted to our cause, path and experience in the Existence, and she will stop at nothing to see us well. Her shadows are sometimes normal and at times translucent, when they’re hardly noted

Her steps are rather soft, but notable when paying enough attention, especially in the mornings or afternoons

Follows you with her eyes, and may move/slightly move her vessel when she sees fit

May change facial expressions into a smile at times, and when you’re sad, her eyes may seem watery as well - almost like she cries with you, even if she already began working on fixing what hurts 

I’ve also heard her chanting, even gently singing as she’s happy. And I want to mention that even as she normally talks, it is done in why I can best describe as melodic syllables. You do have to have a little patience at times for her to finish a sentence🤭😅

May appear in photos/videos - either in her form or the fog/smoke that appears before her full full form shows up

She may show her full appearance in her own time. She does not look Asian as one would expect, features wise, nor much like an Elf. She looks like a shimmering humanoid, with white, translucent and glimmering skin, beautiful round green eyes, fiery red long hair, and as tall as perhaps 1.8m. She is too thin for a human, unless you’d describe her as bulimic😅 And there is a certain light, but only through her white bohemian dress that she emanates. Before her full appearance takes place there is also a certain smoke/fog or cloud that the process itself gives off, along with a melody that seems like an otherworldly whistle or bird to be more precise. She is also full of accessories, necklaces and bracelets that seem as if made from diamonds, some larger than others, around her neck, wrists and even ankles. I don’t believe she’ll be hard to tell apart from other spirits of you may have, but if it is - just her way of talking can tell you it’s her😁
